Youth Ministry

The mission of the RMBBC Youth Department is to assist the pastor and families of Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist Church in the training and development of the next generation to be dedicated, godly sevants of Jesus Christ. At Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist, Bro. Mark Martinez serves as Youth Pastor. Bro. Mark graduated from Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, OK in the spring of 2012, and has a heart for young people.

Our youth meet every Sunday morning for Sunday School where they hear challenging Bible teaching applicable to their daily lives. Every Wednesday, the youth department meets for G.R.O.W.T.H. This is a youth Bible study in which our desire is for them to experience G.R.O.W.T.H. in Going to the lost world, in their Relationships with Jesus Christ, in Obedience to God's will, in Wisdom for living, in the Truth of God's Word, and in Holiness.

In addition to strong and challenging Bible lessons our youth participate in monthly youth rallies with like-faith churches, regularly scheduled activities like youth camping trips and Boondocks fun center, along with yearly activities including youth camp, college days, and youth conferences.

Another strength of our youth department is our desire to strengthen the home. We have a bi-monthly "Home Building Activity" in which teens bring their parents for an activity where families compete with each other against other families as an effort to strengthen the family relationship. Also Included in this activity is a Bible lesson about the parent-teen relationship. Our desire is that the homes of Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist Church remain strong while the culture attempts to tear down the family.

We also encourage our young people to plug in and become active in the various ministries of the church serving in the outreach ministry, music ministry, Vacation Bible school, and other ministries that will train and equip them for a lifetime of spiritual service to God.
